Gift Ideas For the Postpartum Mother

After having Maevery my whole world shifted and everything centered around her. Making sure she was feeding properly, having enough wet diapers, warm enough the list was endless. Everything I did was to make sure she was ok. So when I had some very special people come in and not only give Maevery a gift but also think of me and give me a little something to pamper myself and to show they were thinking of me too it meant so much. Too often mothers take the back seat and are often forgotten. The good thing is we are finally talking about it and realizing how hard and long the journey of postpartum is and how much women need others to help them through that stage in their life. But even with the increase of awareness it is still happening. Watching the newly popular video of Meghan Markle’s latest interview where she shared that no one has asked her if she was ok, broke my heart in two. We need to show our mothers that we are here for them and look after them so they can look after their littles!
