Amazon Prime; possibly the greatest invention brought to motherhood ever. I think it’s tied with the ability to order your groceries online and pick them up isn’t that the best!?
When I was buying all the things we needed for the arrival of our little one I used the crap out of Amazon Prime and loved every minute of it! No waddling around multiple stores looking for everything we needed I found most of everything conveniently on Amazon and eligible for Amazon Prime…Win! I decided I would share with you my top 15 favourite products we got on Amazon for Maevery that we actually used and loved!
Disclaimer there are a couple products that aren’t eligible for amazon prime anymore but are still eligible for free shipping so I included them.
The products are listed in no particular order and each photo is linked to take you directly to the product!
Ok now let’s get into the top 15 shall we!?
1) Nature Bond Silicone Breast Pump
This product was amazing! I didn’t get to use it as long as I wanted to because my supply ended up drying up at around three months but when I did use it I loved it! I picked this particular brand because it has a carrying case and stopper included which is helpful because they are known to tip and spilling breast milk is probably the biggest travesty.
2) MAM Bottle Set
I chose these bottles because I saw this brand EVERYWHERE when I was pregnant. I found this set and thought it was the most convenient way to get all the bottles I needed in the beginning. After ordering them I fell in love them! They come apart so easily to clean and you can sterilize them in the microwave which is such a life saver! They are anti colic and said to be one of the easiest for babies to use who are also breast feeding. Maevery took these bottles totally fine and we have had no issues with them!
3) Nested Bean Sac
We ended up trying this out when Maevery was about three months to see if it would help with sleeping through the night. I noticed a difference but my husband thought I was crazy (haha) but I am too scared now to ever try without it. This sleep sack has a weighted egg to simulate a parents hand resting on the chest or back depending how your baby sleeps and a double zipper so you can zip it part way for diaper changes in the night! They also have swaddles for newborns which I am totally going to get if we are blessed to have another baby.
4) Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine
I cannot rave about this sound machine enough. Right before Maevery was born I put it in Richard and I’s room and it was THE BEST. My husband and I were talking about getting one just for our room because we miss having it now that Maevery sleeps in her own room. It can be controlled by your phone, has multiple different settings and colors for the night light and when they get older it has a time to rise option! We ordered ours from amazon and it was part of amazon prime however now it no longer is and for some reason Amazon is charging way more then other places…they can be weird like that sometimes! So instead I’ve linked to Buy Buy Baby because it has it for significantly cheaper!
5) Skip Hop Change Pad
If I had to rate these products from my most favourite to least this would definitely be the top item! I know it’s a change pad and it seems steep to be paying that much but I am telling you you will not regret buying this! The amount of times that Maevery peed or pooped on the pad was insane and she still does occasionally! Instead of having to take off a cover and wash it, all I have to do is wipe it down. As mothers I think we can all agree that anything that limits your laundry is worth it!
6) Boppy Pillow
I talked about this product in my hospital bag post. This was my favourite nursing pillow and we still use it even though I am no longer nursing. The pattern we have is not eligible for Amazon Prime but there are patterns that are available for prime like this cute one I've linked bellow!
7) Boppy Waterproof Cover
Again I talked about this in my post about what I packed in my hospital bag but believe me if you order the Boppy put this in your cart…you will need it.
8) Graco Dream Suite Bassinet
This bassinet was a life saver for us! We live in a bungalow so all our bedrooms are on the main floor. Every morning I would just wheel this bad boy out to the living room and had it stocked with diapers, wipes extra outfits and swaddles so that I could do changes and naps all right there. The bassinet flips over to a change pad which makes night time changes and day time changes easy peasy! Little pricey but so so worth it.
9) Bravado Nursing Bra
These bras are amazing so comfortable easy to unclasp with one hand and wash really nice!
10) Jolly Jumper
Jolly jumpers are a serious life saver. Especially with Maevery crawling and getting into everything it is nice to be able to put her in there and let her jump around while I get whatever I need to get done like go to the washroom (haha). She loved it at three months and still loves it now! We were lucky enough to get ours as hand me down from my sister and brother in-law but if we hadn't I would have gladly bought this puppy!
11) Skip Hop Silver Lining Cloud Play Mat
This mat was so awesome for Maevery. All the toys attached come off and the mat and pillow it comes with wash so easy in the washing machine! I also loved that it was more neutral so that when it was out it still went with the décor of our house.
12) Cosco Funsport Deluxe Play Yard
The play pen we got is great but to be honest the attachments it came with (the bassinet and change area) were completely useless to us and we never used it. So instead I linked this play pen that is super reasonably priced and doesn’t have all those unnecessary attachments.
13) Ingenuity Smart Clean Trio Elite 3-in-1 High Chair
Guys this high chair is AMAZING!! Everything is wipeable which is a must when you’re doing baby led weaning because things are messy ALL THE TIME. It has three different ways to use it and comes in turquoise and black!
14) Philips Avent SCD630 Digital Video 3.5” Baby Monitor
This monitor has been amazing. We specifically chose this one because it isn’t connected to Wi-Fi which was important to us. The video is good quality and you can zoom, play music and talk back to baby!
15) Hap Tim Diaper Bag
I absolutely love the diaper bag we use and have talked about it in previous posts! It has tons of pockets and room for bottles, diapers, clothes etc. It has held up so far and I love that it is a back pack which makes it so much easier when lugging a baby around!
Bye For Now,
